SQL Passthrough Metrics in the Catalog

Tenant admins can now create table metrics directly in the Metrics Catalog by selecting a data source and writing a SQL query. Each metric returns the query results unchanged and can be added to projects when ready to run, giving your team a faster path to custom metrics without waiting on engineering support for simple cases.

Deliverable Rooms Now Listen by Default

The chat attached to a scheduled report or dashboard now replies to your questions directly, without requiring you to start each message with @orion. This makes it much faster to ask follow-up questions about a deliverable you are already looking at.

• Chats can now be deleted reliably even while Orion is still responding

• Lens comparisons with no prior-period data now show a clear message instead of a generic error
• Looker explores that rename their base view now resolve fields correctly in the semantic layer
• Databricks usage and lineage tracking can now be enabled by admins for Full Resync collection
• Metrics found in search or your email digest now open directly instead of landing on the project homepage
• Filter dropdowns now stay fully on screen and scroll correctly, even in fullscreen dashboard views
• Data sources with a working connection but a failed schema refresh now show as Degraded with a clear explanation, instead of appearing Healthy
