Data Source Pause Visibility and Platform Refinements
See the Impact Before Disabling a Data Source
Admins can now see exactly which metrics, notebooks, workflows, and knowledge base pages depend on a data source before turning it off, thanks to a confirmation prompt and a new Impact tab on each data source page.
Once a data source is disabled, affected dashboards and schedules clearly show a paused state, including an amber notice linking back to the data source and a "Disabled" badge with the date it stopped refreshing. Everything resumes automatically, with the badges and notices clearing on their own, once an admin re-enables the data source.
Improvements
- BigQuery datasource errors now explain when the required API isn't enabled for your workspace instead of showing a generic connection error
- New projects open directly in chat, and the former Catalog Views settings are now simply called Views
- Room conversations stay steady during busy discussions and only scroll when you're already caught up, with the typing indicator staying put above the input
- The shared dashboard and report header is simpler, with less-used actions tucked into a More menu
- Large metric results load with bounded previews and column profiles while keeping full datasets available for use across notebooks, dashboards, chat, and other metrics
