Project Management from Claude via MCP

Manage Projects Directly from Claude

Orion's MCP server now lets you create projects, edit project names and descriptions, and turn knowledge base pages on or off, all without leaving Claude or another MCP client. This means you can set up a project end to end from the tools you already use, rather than switching over to Orion first.

Improvements

  • The "What should we do next?" buttons now disappear as soon as you send another message.
  • Dashboards stay visible in chat when Orion declines to make a requested edit, instead of disappearing.
  • Creating or running an Analysis Notebook now correctly updates its project in the Recent list, while templates no longer clutter it.
  • Chat replies no longer show a leftover assumptions section when the "Ask before making assumptions" setting is turned off.
